Last weekend the party was in central PA at Freeze Thaw Cycles in State College. The temperature dropped along with the sun Saturday evening, but that didn’t keep local cyclists from enjoying a good ride, tasty beer, and endless talk about what brought us all together – bikes. The race/ride took the form of a scavenger hunt where participants attempted to find checkpoints based on a list of 9 clues. Checkpoints involved everything from obstacle courses to collecting bike rims before departing to the next destination. After about an hour and a half everyone gathered back at the shop to swap stories, sip some micro brew, and enjoy the evening in a shop full of bikes and bike lights!

This weekend is calling for snow. Should make for an interesting cross race!
