Night Time Rollers

I owe you folks a longer blog from my adventures over the past few weeks, but wanted to tide you over with something before my trip up north to Massachusetts and the foul-mouth fishing capital of the world: Gloucester.  I did some lobster training off the coast this weekend aboard the Venture 3, departing out of Belmar Marina on a somewhat dismal Saturday afternoon for 3 late afternoon/night dives.  Long story short, the day couldn’t have turned out any better.  Managed to snag a few lobsters, but they were too small or missing key appendages (aka their body) so I left empty handed.  NE Sailor is a prime location for some good lobster hunting; however, I would highly recommend this as insulation, because it was just a little cold.  As always, we showed up with a plethora of Shockwave LEDs and Miniwave LEDs to lend out, despite somewhat lower numbers of divers.  I will say this, however, an empty boat makes for an easy ride when you’re swinging from side to side.

More to come.

Hitting the road. That’s what this is all about.

Life at PT sure is interesting, but it’s what happens when we saddle up and head out of Bordentown that fuels our passion and provides inspiration. Our travels present the opportunity to explore new places, see old friends, meet strangers that grow into old friends, and share our enthusiasm for the outdoors. www.livingonthedash.com is our outlet to share these experiences.
