On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, a catastrophic 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti leaving 3 million people affected by the quake and 2 million people homeless without clean water, food and medical supplies. As of January 27th, 170,000 people have been confirmed dead and it’s estimated that the number will reach 200,000.
